Outdoor Landscape Lights Add Accent to Commercial Exteriors

Outdoor lights should accent the individual features of commercial landscapes in a balanced sense of proportion to the general surroundings. However, creating a sense of strong individuation without unraveling the property’s entire sense of aesthetic of the property can be a challenge-one that normally requires a great deal of careful planning and photometric analysis. You must first see the artistry of the entire landscape itself, and then work backward to find the individuating points that constitute the entirety of the scene. This often requires cross training lighting outdoor lighting technicians in landscaping methodology, or even working in partnership with a landscape lighting company.

Modern Landscaping Design

A Memorial-area art collector residing in a chic modern home wanted his house to be more visible from the street. His yard was full of trees, and he asked us to consider removing them and developing a more modern landscape design that would fully complement the exterior of his home. He was a personal friend of ours as well, and he understood that our policy is to preserve as many trees as possible whenever we undertake a project. However, we decided to make an exception in his case for two reasons. For one thing, he was a very close friend to many people in our company. Secondly, large trees simply would not work with a landscape reflective of the modern architecture that his house featured.
